This is a plain-language summary of how ResidencyMexico handles your information. It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. We may refine this policy as the product evolves.

Who we are

ResidencyMexico (“we”) operates a free calculator that helps people understand whether they qualify for Mexican residency. You can reach us at hello@residencymexico.com.

What we collect

  • Calculator inputs — the answers you provide (consulate, household, income source and amount, savings, and situation flags). These are used to compute your results.
  • Contact details — the email address and optional first name you enter to receive your results.
  • Usage analytics — pages viewed and steps completed, collected via privacy-focused product analytics to help us improve the tool. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

We do not ask for, or store, sensitive identifiers such as passport numbers, government IDs, or full financial account numbers. The income and savings figures you enter are approximate amounts used only to calculate your eligibility.

How we use it

  • To generate and show your residency results.
  • To email your results to the address you provide.
  • To send occasional, relevant updates about Mexican residency and to let you know once when our full product is available — only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand aggregate usage and improve the calculator.

Service providers we share data with

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the service:

  • Brevo — to send your results email and manage our email list.
  • PostHog — for product analytics (page views and funnel steps).
  • Railway — hosting and database infrastructure.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. We never sell your personal data, and we never share it for third-party advertising.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage: one to keep your calculator answers during your session, and analytics cookies to measure usage. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.

Data retention

We keep your submission and contact details for as long as needed to provide the service and send updates you've opted into. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@residencymexico.com and we'll respond promptly. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message we send.

Children

The calculator is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16.
